Doc Shop! Seminar + Photo Session

Join us for a free informative seminar from 10:00 to 11:00 am on May 6, 2025 focused on how to effectively document your artwork to make a lasting impression in gallery submissions. Led by Florence Thomas Art School’s Director of Community Engagement Samantha Oleschuk, this session will cover best practices for photographing your work and discuss the critical role proper documentation plays in elevating your art portfolio. This seminar is perfect for artists aiming to improve the professional presentation of their artwork.
After the seminar, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Florence Thomas Art School will host a photo session. For a nominal fee of $15, artists can bring up to 5 artworks to photography on the gallery walls, illuminated with our gallery spotlights. All two-dimensional artwork must be wired on the back. Three dimensional artwork must not exceed 12″ x 12″ in order to fit on our pedestals. Cameras will not be provided. Assistance from Director of Community Engagement Samantha Oleschuk will be available as needed.

Three Who Paint Art Talk

Join us for a presentation by “Three Who Paint” artists Addren Doss, Amy Evans, and Julie Hayes on their exhibition at Florence Thomas Art School entitled Three Artists, Three States, Three Styles. They will each discuss their work and share stories of their plein air adventures.
